Advice

ok, major advice here.

You are not making a blockbuster movie which people are going to pay to see.
When people pay to see a movie they are more inclined to sit through 5 minutes of opening credits.

You need to think of your audience.
I look through most the flashes here, and there are alot of really bad ones. So I watch as much as I can before making a quick judgement on whether it's worth my time and effort to continue watching or to just close it and move on.

So I found your extremely slow intro sequence to be pointless.
It did nothing to set a mood or theme to your flash, it was just clouds and really really slow text.
Why include it? It achieves nothing other than annoy the viewer.

Anyway, the rest of the flash was ok.

Pure Awesomeness

You even managed to give the Flash a Constructavist style to it.
I loved it.
There really weren't enough referances to Communism or the October Revolution. But it was fun none the less.

Interesting

Although shorter than SF6 it was still an interesting tale. Unlike dull animators such as Illwillpress, you strive to invent new storylines and odd little ideas and mearge them all beautifully into a stylistically attractive animation.
For those people who 'didnt get it' due to the lack of anything actually happening, you are missing the point. To me it's a form of Existentialism. Salad Fingers represents us as humans and points out the absurdity of our existence.
Indeed, nothing really happens, and what does happen is just ridiculous, but then so is life.
Of course, this is my interpretation of it.
But do not hate something just because it doesn't have explosions or a repetitious ranting squirrel.
David Firth is taking Flash animation into his own sick little world and such innovation and imagination should be applauded.

Simple, yet it was well done.
I disagree with the previous review about it needing more violence.
That wouldn't have helped the flash at all. It would have been out of place.
Plot wise, it wasn't great. No real story other than a depressed kid wandering around and finally fighting and defeating his demon. But that was fine.
Nice work.
